Can anyone help me with forms of PF and EDLI in xls format . Specifically I need the forms 5,challans, etc. which are needed for filing monthly returns .Another question : Does the banks accept challans printed from computers ... i mean even if they are not of different colours ???

Hi,
For forms you can get these forms in some stationary shop where government related forms are available...
As far as challans are concerned..it varies from branch to branch....Means some branches of SBI do accept computerised format and some not...
It would be desirable if government defined forms are being used..so that there is no scope for any discrepancy..still you can check with branch before using computerised stuff...if they agree, u can always go ahead..
I myself have faced problem for the same in ESIC matters...so better to check..
We had good earlier postings on the PF matters....Plz go through it
