I have to submit the half-yearly return of labor (Form-XXIV) under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970.

My question is, do I have to fill in only the details of Onroll employees or both the details of Consultants and Onroll employees?

Dear R,

In this return, we are required to give the details of contract labor employed during the year under report. Therefore, please refer to the definition of Contract Labor as given in section 2(b) of the Contract Labor (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 for clarification on the matter.

Dear Jagadish,

First, examine which of the rules i.e. central or state are applicable in your case and then go through those applicable Contract Labour (R&A) Rules to have the format of the annual return to be sent to the Registering Officer under the CL Act and to have knowledge of the list of registers to be maintained by you.
