I am facing a problem in calculating the bonus.. I want to know about the employees who are eligible for receiving the bonus. What is the maximum and minimum value of Basic + DA.
Kindly help me in this regard with an example if possible.

Hi Shweta.
For Bonus calculation Employee has to work minimum 30 days in a year and employee who draws salary upto Rs.10000 is eligible for Bonus. Maximum Bonus is Rs.20% and Minimum Bonus is Rs.8.33%.
But the calculation base is Rs.3500/-
Eqaution: (Basic+DA) * 20% = i.e.Rs.700/-
If employees Basic + DA is Rs.7500, but the computation base will be Rs.3500/-

above calculation is correct, and employees getting upto 10,000/- per month are liable to be paid bonus compulsary Regards,
