Is it possible for a company to deposit the PF-ESIC contribution under the coverage code of other company?
Yesterday I came to know that a company having more than 20 employees with them, but to fulfill the statutory liabilities co. depositing the both contribution to the other company's code. Even they are issuing ESIC cards to the employees.
As far as the customer(principal employer) query is concerned, they submit the challan of PF-ESIC with the bill, pls mark " with the co. name mentioned on the challan"
Pls help me in this concern. I will be very thankful to you.

Company should have a seperate code for its individual company.
When in case of balance sheets are individual.
If contractor have not ESIC / PF Code. then it is a liability of principle employer to deposit the same in their code.

Dear Vikas,
Here two things we have to consider:
01. In case of a company, which qualifies the definition under either factory or shops/establishment, it is supposed to comply under its own ESI code No.,
02. In case it is the case of contractors, if he supplies manpower/render services to any other unit which is having individual ESI code No., if the contractor do not qualify individually for ESI, the compliance of all his employees to be made under the Principle Employer, i.e. where such workers works..............
Hope i cleared ur doubt..............other wise please give some clarity in your question..........
