By sensitizing people about safety and addressing the psychological/behavioral aspects involved in safety, organizations/individuals can create a safer and secure work environment.
The various industry wide standards dealing with safety such as OHSAS, ISO, NEBOSH also require Behavior Based Safety as a key prerequisite for certification and compliance.
