I am working in a manufacturing company. We engage piece rate contract workers in our organisation. They will not be regular but based on our requirement.
Can anybody suggest how we can regularise statuory regulations (PF & ESI)for them.

Hi!
As per the PF Act, even all conractual workers are eligible for PF/ ESIC and it is the duty of the contractor to deduct & make payment towards PF / ESIC from their employees but responsibility is always lies with that of Principal employer.
Hence, irrespective of No. of days worked, he is eligible for PF / ESIC & you have to open an PF account of all such employees.
