Navigating Employee Resignation: Blacklisting Concerns and Career Decisions - CiteHR

Hello All, I joined a company two months ago and realized that it is not a good fit for me, unlike my previous company. I am currently involved in a pilot process, but I feel uncomfortable working here. I took a leave of three consecutive days, and on the third day, I received a call from my manager, which I attended. I returned to the company and sent an email to him expressing my desire to resign from the job. He did not accept my resignation and suggested that I stay with the company until I receive a new offer from another company. However, I am not okay with this and would like to quit. I posted my resume on a job portal and applied for 10 jobs, but I have not received any replies from any agencies or employers. DOES IT MEAN THAT MY EMPLOYER HAS BLACKLISTED ME? I spoke with the HR Manager and expressed my wish to leave the company. He said he would talk to my manager to resolve the issues. However, I do not want to continue working for my present company. Will anyone advise me on this, please...?

Are you crazy? There are certain questions I would like to ask you:

1. Do you get your salary properly?
2. How about your friends in your company?
3. What projects do you handle?
4. Do you know if the projects from clients are confirmed?

If this is okay, why should you resign? Gain experience in another company as well. Be practical, my friend. Try to secure a new job and leave this one.

Also, an important thing to keep in mind is that until you join a new company, you should not engage in conflict with your current company. Doing so may harm your future prospects.

Dear Huma, it is not advisable to leave a company so early. Even if you don't like the company, for your future career, you should at least maintain a term of a minimum of 6 months. And you don't have any offer in your hand right now. So, I think you should anyhow spend some more time until you get a good offer.

To answer your question of whether to leave or to stay in your current company, I would like to ask you the reason why you want to leave this company. Is it the company culture, your boss, the kind of work, or salary that is bothering you so much that you decided to leave? There is definitely a solution to every problem.

So tell me what exactly is bothering you so that I can help you out with the solution.

Regards,
Purnima
