Hello,
I am new member to this site so please excuse me for any errors.
If a new joinee is asked to fill in form 11 inspite of the fact that there where PF deductions with his previous employer what will this eventually result into? Is this a comman practice?
Need some advice on this. Thank You

see it an employee declare that, he never been a member of PF through form - 11 of EPF then there is no harm, but one thing to remember that his/her salary (basic+da) should be more than 6500/-

Now it is mandatory to fill up Both Form 2( Nomination form) as well as Form 11.
In Form 11 if you declare that u are never been a member of EPF in the past , u have the option whether to join or to get exclusion from the scheme if your salary is above 6500/-( Basic + DA ).On the other hand if u declare that u are a member of EPF scheme in the past and if ur salary Exceeds Rs 6500/- at present u have to continue the membership.( U can't get exclusion).
