One senior is working with our organisation from last ten years. Now one new joinee is hired .Now he told that he is facing problem to work with senior . How we can retain this employee with the organisation.
One solution i have that to change his reporting senior.

Dear Pinki,
The new joinee should be given some parrel assignment to prove his skills and gain confidence and adjustment in new comapny and with new senior.
Second new joinee should analyze the reaosns of senior's attitude and accordingly the best fitted course of action should be devised to strengthen the new joinees position.
New jinee should confront the problems and overcome them and establish himself before senior and create a challenge for him also
In my view these are some qworkable solution based on my experience

This is conflict seems from senior side becoz new joinee cannot show any confrontationist attitude for nothing at his career begining level.Conciliate and arbitrate between them. The problem might be in the operational or funtional methadology not necesssarily in persons. Changing reporting senior is not the ultimate solution , the problem may be remain same with another senior. The best solution is "Analyse the problem, talk to senior and new joinee, understand the actuall probelm then kill the root cause not branches and conflict should be resolved in the lens of company's benefit not on personel basis"

Dear Pinki,
I thnik Mishra Sir is right, as this happens every time in each industry with new joinee.
Their is fear in senior of loosing authority / he may found that new joinee is more productive than him / new joinee talks more or theory & seniors talk more on experience etc there are various reasons but following Mr. Mishra & bickey's suggestion may help you a lot.

look pinki, look senior is senior, he is working with your organization from ten years so must know his nature or you can get it from other employee's. No one can decide that who is at fault. you must concern other employee's. and by changing repoting you won't be able to solve this problem. its better to STOP THE DROP WHERE IS FALLS.

Hi friends,
1
Somehow the new joinee has been reprimanded by the senior because he may not be coming to the expectations of the Senior. It means he shall take some time for adapting the culture of new company, to know his job well and other requirements of the job. It shall take some time.
2. There senior may be regid about the new ideas by the new joinee to improve the working. It is not uncommon. It happens in every industry. The root cause of the problem must be identified for counselling either to new joinee, the senior or the both.

Hi Pinki,
These sort of problems often occur for a newly hired candidate or rather we can say that it might be their psychological thinking of being experiencing problems when working with the seniors.
As told by one of our mates here "Seniors are Seniors" and they might check the temperament of the new entrant in many ways which if faced with courage by the new entrant might yield fruits later. This can be termed as some tactful approach by the seniors and the new entrant will be assessed based on several things in the beginning. It might be tough for the new entrant in the initial stages of his employment but later the same might turn into some thrilling or learning experience.
Any junior who complains of his senior at the initial stage itself shows his/her inefficiency in work which must be highlighted to him/her and make him/her overcome those with good counselling.
This is my point of view.
Thanks,

Everybody has differen point of view over this issue reflecting thier past expereinces and witneses.I respect to all views but this is a sisuation and problem might be laid at both sides. In this case, Senior may have his own interests. The behavior doesnt seem to be supportive and professional by senior here. The new joinee should have to said that my senoir is supportive rather than complaining. If it is testing of junior by senoir then it would be the worst practice of modern management. You should test the temprament of juniors and thier attitude towards work by giving tough assignments not by creating irrelevant negligence.
