I am an MSW graduate. Looking for a start in my career. where ever i go they ask me for experience. This question might have reached the ears of all the freshers. I do have a very good academic record 79.5% with a decent soft skill they deny me an entry. This problem might have reached all the seekers through off campus interviews.
Some of them enter the organizations through various referrals and end up in a job vowing that they will give an opportunity for a fresher in the future which fades away with time.
If everyone need the experienced what shall the freshers do?

Dear Francis
The Job market is still not open completely. Just reports and stats claim market is opening. But all good company is playing the game of Wait and watch.
By Oct 2010, the market will bloom in totality.
Wait for the time being.
Good things comes to those wait.

To kill the idle time;
Some Organisations advertising aggressively, just to maintain their visibility in the sector
Some recruitment consultants are posting positions to collect their database
Some reporters are writing to fill up the gaps in their news paper
At the end of the day, in recession, every one has to do something or the other. For some Organisations, recession meant to filter the unproductive employment and an opportunity to cost cutting.
At the same time its true that Jobs are not as many as they were couple of years ago. The market recession has hit badly and recovery is possible towards the end of this year.
But all said and done, it is difficult to say that the reports are untrue. Perhaps, we are expecting the market to respond as earlier.

yea francis...Wherever i went for an interview...they asked me Are you experienced guy? do u have any kind of experience...I dont understand without giving the job only how can u expect experience..and once i went for an interview when i said im a fresher..panel of interviewers looked as if i have asked their kidneys...

they bluff...they bluff...and i remained silent and listening and listening..but finally they gave me free advice and said..ur profile didnt match our requirements...what an amazing thing it is?

So untill we are a fresher..nobody cares..they exploit us...and once we get 2yrs of Exp and u look for a job change they ask u oh if u would have had exp in this particular field we would have considered u..so What shit is that...

Me too fresher experiencing the same problem...dont know what to do...

Wait..wait ..wait untill u get a proper time..here is a quote to remain patient..

" Samay Se pehle ya Naseeb ke baad na kisi ko mila hain na kisi ko milega" its a hindi quote..let anyone who know hindi translate it into english..
