Radhi,
If in your organisation there are more than 20 employees, it will be applicable to PF. If you have fewer employees than that, you can apply for voluntary coverage registration with the PF office. The documentation required depends on the nature of your organisation. For instance, if it is a manufacturing unit, the first electric bill or first sale bill may be necessary. Alternatively, if your organisation is in the service sector, different documents may be required. Additionally, a muster of employees will also be needed.
Please provide more specific details so that I can offer you further information.

Hi Prashant Patil,
You have not mentioned whether it's a proprietary, partnership, or private limited company. Is your company situated in any SEZ? Will the document differ because of this?
Did your employee strength exceed 20 this month?

Hi,
If your organization consists of more than 10 people, PF registration is mandatory, and ESI registration is required if their salary is less than 10K. Please seek assistance from a PF consultant or an advocate specializing in labor legislation.

Dear All,
I am in the process of obtaining ESI & PF codes. Can anybody help me with the process and papers required for the same?
Secondly, what is the difference between a code and a sub-code and how do they differ from each other?
Furthermore, I am in the process of finalizing a few good HR practices for employee engagement and involvement. Can anyone help me in this regard?
Thanks,
Ajay Bhasin
