A very good afternoon and here’s wishing you a special day!
It is interesting to note how certain social movements have taken on amazing dimensions over the years. History is replete with stories of great women and their contributions in all fields of human endeavor. March 8 started as a red letter day for career women – it marked a milestone in the path of persevering women who financially supported their families.
But today, it is also a tribute to women across the world as harbingers of peace, prosperity and balance, at the centre stage of the smallest unit of civilized society – the family.
In 1975, the UN recognized March 8 as International Women’s Day.
This is a day of happiness… a day for celebrating all the special moments in your life… Of being a daughter, sister, mother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, wife, colleague, friend, philosopher and guide… Of being YOU!
This poem goes out to each and every one of you… It is guaranteed to strike a chord…
HERE'S TO THE WOMAN…
Who knows where she’s going… and will keep on until she gets there;
Who is loyal to family and friends, who expects no more from others than she is willing to give;
Who accepts both victories and disappointments with the same grace,
Who gives the gift of her thoughtfulness, who shows her caring with a word of support, her understanding with a smile;
A woman who brings joy to others just by being herself...

A very happy women's day from my side also.
And heres something for all the women who make this world so special a place to be
YOU CAN DO ALMOST ANYTHING
YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO...................
YOU CAN SWIM THE DEEPEST OCEAN,
AND CLIMB THE HIGHEST PEAK
YOU CAN FACE ADVERSITY
AND STILL WALK DAUNTLESS
YOU ARE STRONG , BEAUTIFUL, COMPASSIONATE
MUCH MORE THAN WORDS COULD EVER SAY !!!!!
TODAY IS YOURS, AS ANY OTHER DAY.
