Dear All,
I am creating a graph on the number of employees who are working and number of employees who have resigned. The graph should also show the number of employees in each and every department like Engineering department, QC department, Sales department etc.,.
I would appreciate if any of you can share any formats like this... to maintain a track of the percentage of employees are existing and who have quit.
This woould be useful for many HR's working in a small company too.
Expecting a reply !

Jitha

Please find the updated file at the bottom of this page.
Hi,
Please find attached .xls file probable it could solve your problem, There are asome flaws in it, but I hope you can manage it for the time being.
You just need to make change in the Current Status column in any sheet and the rest is taken care.
It is based on Department wise, the whole organization and then depicted in a graph format.
For any further clarifications, pls mail me at the e-mail given below.

Hi Kumar,
This is Jitha from Chennai. I got the .xls sheet called "Tracker" which you sent.
I have started working on it. We have nearly 8 departments and I am trying to
create with the help of your tracker. But I do not have any idea how the formula
for different sheets(departments) can be made and also the graph. If I try inserting,
it is showing error. I think the excel will accept only two sheets to work out.
Can you please suggest/help me to create a formula if i am adding more sheets in the
excel.
Awaiting for your reply.
Please consider this as a urgent need.
Thanks,
Jitha

Hi Jitha,
You might need to look at a Bar chart rather than a Pie Chart.
Each Column will represent a Department and two bars will be representing the % of Existing Employees and % of Resigned Employees.
I am attaching an excel file for your reference.
To answer your second query, excel works with logic. You cannot depend on Formula for a long time. As a work around, you might insert additional in between the existing rows and the same would be reflected in your graph. There are two worksheets; one with normal situation, the other one in case you want to add something which is highlighted in yellow.
Please let me know if it helps.

Dear,

I am a Human Resource professional working with small organizations. I want to create and generate staff IDs in the organization. If anyone can help me in preparing an Excel sheet to generate staff IDs or resource numbers, it would make it easier for me to edit the given format.

Thanks
