Dear Mr. Siva,

first of all prepare an induction format if it is not available in your organization. In General all the new incumbents will approach HR, the HR will all the relevant forms like Joining report, PF, ESI, nomination form, confidentiality agreement etc., etc and obtain all the testimonials, copies of certificates, address proof, PAN No., Bank account no., pass port size photographs etc from the new employee. Prepare a welcome note and if you have mail IDs to all HODs then forward the same to all the HODs and also display one Hard copy in the notice board.

Take the employee to his HOD and introduce, if it is a big organization & the employee is in a senior position then call for a meeting of HODs and introduce, if not intorduce to all HODs. Let him go through all the HR sytems, processes, policies, formats related to the employee, should also communicate him about in & out procedures, dos & don'ts etc., etc., and let the guy go to the concerned the department. You (HR) is responsible for creating a mail ID, providing ID cards, Business cards, Des/Lap top etc as per eligibility

I opine that you should prepare an induction schedule and chekc list.

If you want any thing furthr pl., forward a mail to my ID

These are the basic things which you have to quickly acquire.
