I was working with company A from 15-07-2005 to 18-07-2006. I joined company B on 19-07-2006. I did not submit PF Transfer form with my previous employer and submitted PF Transfer form to my current employer in sep'2006.
The information availble with me at the moment is that my tranfer request was submitted to RFPC on 4th Oct'2006.
Today (13th Feb'2007) only i sent a request to my previous employer for the transfer request.
I had a word with one of my seniors and he told me that one can get the PF transferred from previous employer to new one within six months only and after six months one cannot apply for transfer.
May i request you to please guide me in this regard.

Dear Alok Bhat,
PF can be transferred any time. The procedure for PF trasfer is:
Your present employer fill a form No. 13 (revised) mentioning all the information (as per Form 11) regarding PF of your previous employer (with a copy to you) and submit it to it's Regional/sub-regional PF office.
PF office send the form to previous employer for varification. After varification (alongwith Form 3A, if applicable), Previoue employer send the Form-13 to PF office for transfer.

I just had a word with HR of my previous employer. He has not initiated the tranfer request as of now. I have asked him for the withdrawel of the amount.

If I have a new PF account opened through the new employer, what happens to the interest on the balance in my previous EPF account? As there would be no additional monthly contribution in that account?
If I transfer my previous PF account how is the member's balance and employer balance reflect in the new PF account? How is the interest for the month claculated in which the account transfer takes place?
Also, iff possible provide working for Pension a/c
