I completed my MBA in both HR and Finance.
Of these two fields, which field has good scope and salary? Is it possible to work in a combination of these two fields?
Which field is considered to be most important?
Between HR and Finance, who can become a CEO?

The truth is that often Marketing people move up fast with Finance and Operations to the top chair. HR is just optional but chances vary with individual talents and traits.

Hi MHRS,
In a corporate environment, a person choosing "Finance" as a career path ends up as a CFO (Chief Finance Officer) reporting to the CEO, and the one choosing "HR" ends up as a "SVP/Exec Director, Human Resources" who also reports directly to the CEO.
For you to be a CEO, you will need to be in "Operations"... The knowledge in Finance & HR will help you give that extra edge to climb the ladder of growth quickly. However, after one stage, it is always performance that you will be accountable for... :)
Cheers!!

Hi friend,
I feel you are a little bit confused about the decision related to Title, Salary, and future growth.
I suggest that at this time, do not think about all of this. First, analyze yourself - your weaknesses and strengths. Identify which subject you like the most; is it finance or HR? Depending on the results, you may choose one and master it.
Both careers are rewarding. In both cases, there are chances of becoming a CEO, like in HR and Consultancy. Of course, an HR person has the first chance to be a CEO, and in Bank and Financial services, definitely a finance person.
