I came across this query from Mr. Umesh. Can anybody advise me on a good Performance Management System/Appraisal (PMS) for an organization with 600 employees in Retail (Automobile)? Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to advise you that the PMS system for your company cannot be explained because you have not informed us about your company's exact business operations, where the money is earned from, and where the money is spent, etc. If you want real and good advice from all of us, then you should define your business properly. Merely mentioning 600 people will not solve your problem. In short, you should give a tentative break-up (not exact) when putting forth your query. PMS systems are tailored to suit the specific needs of each business. For example, the PMS system for Autoriders Group, a Maruti dealer with 2-3 showrooms, will be entirely different from that of Vitesse Group, another Maruti dealer with 10-12 selling locations. PMS systems are intricate procedures that require a significant amount of effort to arrive at satisfactory conclusions during development, implementation, and maintenance over time. I hope you will not take offense, but rather provide us with the necessary details so that all our HR colleagues can feel comfortable contributing to your case.
