if you have 20+ employees than you are required to take PF code.however if all employee basic is above 6500 than you are not bounded to deduct PF than you can send nil return and every month you will deposit rs 7 as inspection chages.

PF is mandatory only when
1. Total no of employees touch the figure of 20
2. All of them should have worked for 3 months continuously
3.Any one of 20 employees have a salary less than Rs 6500/- p.m
4. once registered then you are required to file returns for all time to come
please clarify-
what happens in case no of employees exceeding 20 and all of them getting more than Rs 6500/- pm Is PF registration required ?

Hi friend,
As per the EPF & MP Act 1952, if the employees drawing Basic + DA(Special All) salary more than 6500 and employees strength is 20 or 20+ then you are not covered under above said act.
