Hi Divya,
Just chill you need not worry so much. You will be able to really find a good job, you can very well tell them you were getting married and you had to concentrate on your family people now you are in a matured situation and you can very well manage work and family in the same time thats the reason you are looking out for a job.

Dear Diviya,
Good luck for your job search. There is nothing to worry about. Just tell them that you had some personal challenges. If they want you to specify then tell them that you were getting married at that period.

Divya,
As others have said..there is nothing to worry about.
Just keep one thing in mind..you have not committed a crime so you need not feel guilty about it. Never show to your interviewers that you regret taking a break. Just show it as a decision. Be confident.
Good luck to you.

I agree that it is difficult to find job after break.I am facing the same issue.
I have 3 yrs of HR Generalistic exp.
I took break of around 2 yrs for my baby and now when I apply consultants tell me that your cv is not shortlisted just because of gap.
It is really frustrating at a times.I was always among the toppers, got placed through campus placements, got offers from wipro & accenture( however could not avail them as I had complications in pregnancy and was adviced not to travel far ).
Now when I am looking for options it is difficult to reenter the industry again.
Can any one of you help me to get in to industry again in Delhi & NCR??

Hi divya....i also faced the same prob lyk yours....after cmpleting my MBA i wrkd for n International Pharma co. for around 2.7 yrs....there after i got married and took a break for almost 7 months....and right nw i am with an IT copany.i would suggest tht u cn take up sm HR assignments for short durations with small start-ups jst to start with....and later as you will settle, again job offers will cm to you...also simultaneously keep urself updated and keep floating ur updated resumes to all good placement consultants in ur city....it will tk some time for thngs to click as d market is slow..bt keep trying. Also keep appearing for interviews for whichever profile you get tht will help u a lot.Appearing for interviews will help u in gauging the requirements of the Organizations.....and also review ur resume again and update it if required before floating it into the market.....one other option is tht, u cn tk up sm further studies in the mean time to sharpen ur knowledge this will help u utilize ur time as well as in justifying urself in front of the interviewers and u will also feel much more confident....and as many ppl said earlier tht it is quite an acceptable thng tht females do tk break during their careers for various genuine reasons so dnt wrry....all the best....Hope this suggestion helps u...
Had wishes been good enough she would have got a job but that is not the true scenario in the current situation. Lets all be realistic. Its not an easy thing to get a job of your choice taking in view the fact that you have not worked for the past few years and you want to take up the job again...the gap is there in the resume and as such flux of people are available with good skills and knowledge as such y should a company hire you ..when you are out of sight and touch with the current industry trends....Lets be practical you need to start from the scratch again as said beggars are not choosers you wont be able to dictate your terms while applying for jobs or going for interviews its the organisation that has the plus in your case....Yes its not that you wont get a job ...getting a job of your choice will be a challenge but start from the low position with low salary and then move upwards time is not good at the moment you need to have patience as well ...but be prepared and show knowledge as the opportunities that would strike your way would be very limited and you need to turn these opportunities into success....Hence be a Solider ready with your rifle to shoot on and win the battle.....
