Hi, Is it mandatory to give sick leave or casual leave to an employee apart from earned leave? Do we have any minimum number of leaves to be granted to an employee every year??

Minimum leaves are to be given to the employees as required by law & maximum leaves are to be declared by the employer at his own discretion or under any agreement reached between the employees and employer. You have not mentioned the applicable state rules. Statutory leaves are to be granted as per the applicable law. Your unit may be covered under the Factories Act or State S&E law. Leaves are to be examined after finalization of the applicable Act.
