Dear friends,
I have been getting alot of consultants calling me for various HR opportunities more at Regional level than at Corporate level.
As it is prevelant Corporate positions are always one up to Regional positions, this puts me in a Catch22 situation. I want a corporate level position in a MNC however i might have to settle with a Regional opportunity.
Question: If i take up a Regional Mgr-HR position does it hinder the future growth prospects at corporate level?
Kindly share your personal experience :)

Hi Meghna,
You have not mentioned your current position and experience. You know as HR professional how important it is to prepare an advice for your situation :D
However, if you are intending ofr corporate position and are sure to get one, have patience, and ask your consultants about your choice clearly. Remember your mobility factor will influence your decision to a great extent.

Hi Meghana,
It is better that at this satge you opt for Regional HR Manager's Position, that will be more beneficial for your career. Cuz, as RHM, you will enjoy more liberty and flexibility than that of Asst. Corp. HR. Moreover as RHM your transparency will go much higher.

Manas
