Nice presentation Mahesh.
stop this impulse purchases. they are the ones that burn badly and if accounted for over a period of time, we will be surprised to see the amount spent on it.
good thing about comparing prices. last month I made a purchase after enquiring a few places and checking on sites. the price at which I got the product was 30-40% less then what I would have paid if I had not looked around.
Credit cards - almost my major purchases and utility payments are done through them. I pay fully and have the rolling period available with me. also a lot of these payments earn you discounts for online payments - Telephones (For example). advise strongly against using cards if you cannot pay fully or on time. the interest rate will kill you financially
