Dear All,
I had submitted my PF withdrawal form to the company where I was working previously on 23.06.09. So far, I have not received any update either from the company or from the PF office. I have checked the Claim status on the EPFO website, but there is no information about my PF number on it.
Kindly guide me.
Regards, Rasheed

Dear Rasheed,
Just check with your employer to confirm when they have submitted the forms to the PF office. It will then take a minimum of 45 days for processing at the PF office. In the meantime, you may check the status with your PF Office.

Hi,
I had emailed the company to inquire about the status. They have responded, saying they submitted the PF withdrawal form to the PF office on 25.07.09. In the meantime, I also contacted the PF office, but they replied that they have not received the form.
How can I proceed to get this done?

Hi Rasheed,
For example, if your date of leaving from your company is 1st June '09 and if your full and final payment is also received on the same day, after 2 months only you are eligible to apply for PF withdrawal form. From the date of submission of PF withdrawal form, it takes 45 days to get your amount into your account. If I am wrong, please suggest.

Hi Shwetha!
You are absolutely right. Once a person is relieved from his/her duties, he/she has to wait for a minimum of 60 days to submit the PF forms. After submission, it takes a minimum of 30 days for the PF department to process our funds. However, nowadays, they are taking even 3 months to clear the funds.
Hi Rasheed,
Ask the company personnel about the acknowledgement of the PF submission. Inform them that the PF amount has not been credited yet, and the PF department is requesting the acknowledgement letter. Therefore, the company personnel need to provide the same.
Cheers

Hi,
I received an email from our HR stating that the PF form was submitted to the PF office on 25.07.09. In the meantime, I also inquired with the PF office where they informed me via email that they had not received the PF form. Now, after inquiring with our Head Office, they have informed me through email that the PF form was actually submitted on 23.09.09.
In this situation, can we file a complaint against the company for providing incorrect information? Who is responsible for the delay, and who will compensate for the loss, as the amount is urgently needed for a course?
Please advise.
