Hello everybody,
I am pursuing an MBA. My institute has signed an MOU with a Canadian university called Lethbridge University in Alberta. They are accepting MBA students for a Master of Science in International Business (MS(IB)). Is it worth considering, or is the university good enough to continue with?
Please guide me.
Thank you

Thanks Nashbramhall for your comment.
I still need to know whether it is worth doing an MS from Canada. I have seen that this university ranks 33 among 45 major universities in Canada, and they are asking me to appear for the GMAT within this month end. Is it possible to prepare and appear for the GMAT in a very short span of time? Please help me find out.

I do not know whether you can do GMAT within a short span, as I do not know your capabilities and your background. I do not know how the MBA from there is considered in the job market. You need to study their website.

Hello,
Doing an MBA from Lethbridge would only be worth it if you are planning to settle abroad. If you are planning to settle in India itself, it won't carry extra weight, and you also need to find out whether your institute has an option to transfer to Canada. A Canadian MBA costs somewhere around 13-15 lakhs in Indian currency.

Dear, you can pursue it from Symbiosis, ICFAI, and Welingkar Institute of Management. These are three good colleges for doing an MBA in distance education mode. However, Symbiosis and Welingkar offer PGDBA, not MBA, but it's equivalent to an MBA.
There are some other colleges that provide distance MBA, but to my knowledge and belief, they do not have good recognition in the market. If you pursue an MBA from these colleges, it's only a waste of time for you.
So, before enrolling in a distance education MBA program, scrutinize the college's history, its recognition, and value in the market, and then make your decision.
