Hi Vicks, Iam not an x-pert in this line, but I have helped many people to get their claim... and it has not been that hard, I mean if the details and particulars like your EPF A/c No, your name and date of joining & leaving, etc, are corrextly filled in order and there are no other defaults by the employer side, you may get your bank/post office savings account credited within 30 to 35 days... and if there's any default the claim would be returned to your Employer within a few days and the reason for return would be mentioned in that by the EPFO, your Employer has to look into that and do the necessary action to resend the same... So after about 25 days if you do not see your bank account credited, then you can first contact your employer to know to check whether your claim has been returned and if it is not, then you can wait for a couple of days and do the same....
If you do not get it for long time after you claim submission, then you can take your salary slips, etc. and move to the EPFO commissioner for fair response, but this has to be your last action, don't hurry.... consult with the concerned personnel because you need to have sufficient proof of your Salary, EPF deduction, etc... and if you are in a hurry for justice without sufficient stuff you might be have to face the anger of your boss...
And you have'nt mentioned your PF A/c No, the area where your establishment place is etc., because now you can view the status of your claim online at the following website:[]... just have to choose the office of the EPFO where your employer has registered his establishment, then give the EPF number of your establishment, then your Epf A/c No at the last box and after that click on 'Get Claim Status' and you will receive response showing when your claim was received by the EPFO and whether it is under process ot has been returned and if it asks for Bank No, may be it has already been credited to your Bank acoount, so check that !
All the Best...

Vicks ..on trying to view your cliam status at the website you have to enter all the above details ... if you don't have the details then collect the same information from the organisation in which you worked!
