Hi: Greetings. I need some information on Employee exit clearance process. As far as I know, it's the responsibility of the exiting employee to get the clearance from all dept heads in the prescribed form. Its quite a hecitc process and the employee has to spend 2 to 3 days for this purpose and at the end, he feels frustrated and embarrassed.
I like to know if any company follows an online exit clearance system or automation of the exit clearance process. Kindly let me know with more details. I would be thankful.

Automation of the exit clearance process is available - in this process, you can configure a work flow wherein the HR generates a online format and it is sent through internal mail/Outlook to the respective dept heads for remarks/closure. But it has a drawback in terms of the respective dept heads not seeing their mail in time, thus leading to more delays.
Hence, the current system of the employee himself/herself moving around and getting the exit form filled in, seems to be the ideal solution.
