hello
First give some details about the background of the company.
The hierarchy differs from company to company.
there is no set pattern which can be applied to every company. yes the basic structure may be same but then there are certain specific factors too.

hello
i guess if you are discussing HRD flowchart from the perspective of implementing IS then divide the hiearhy on the basis of the subsystems of HR- Recruitment, Training, Compensation, Appraisal & IR for each subsystem you can have hiearchy as executive, Senior Executive, manager, senior manager, vice presdient, president HR depending upon the size of the organization the level of hiearchy would vary.
All the best

hi,
i agree with prof sahai in dividing the hiearhy on the basis of the sub functions of hr like Recrutiment, T&D, Compensatiion, IRor Employee Relations but i feel the best entry level would be as a EXecutive Trainee or Management Trainee. Many of the best corporates like Hindustan Latex Ltd, NTPC,ONGC,GAIL etc etc take their HR people as a Trainee and then mould them as required.Once you cross the age for it , you are never going to get recruited with those big shots specialy in HRD Dept.
