Hi all,
I am going to conduct HRM research for my HRM degree. I am also working as an HRD Executive. I want to specialize in Psychology and counseling so I am thinking of doing my research related to that. Could you please suggest a topic in that area? I am a bit stuck in finding a research topic.
Please help me in this regard. Thank you.

Tharindu,
You are welcome. Aspiring PhD students should do some literature survey first to see what others have done and where a gap exists before embarking on enrolling. They should use the knowledge gained during their Master's degree and decide in which field their interest lies.

Hi,
Which topics do you think are better that we have not researched yet?
1. Role of human resource management and firm competitiveness
2. Firm competitiveness in an economic crisis
3. Job quality and employee well-being
If you have more suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks

From Iran,
Sahar Simhan has given the right advice. If I may suggest, you need to look into the following pointers:
1. Your interest should motivate you to research "with a purpose," not just to obtain a degree or recognition.
2. Jot down all the topics that come to your mind.
3. Shortlist the ones that stand out on the list.
4. Conduct a little web search and research to identify topics you have selected that have not been researched enough and offer a wide scope.
5. Analyze your choice and realistically assess whether it presents a challenge worth taking up.
6. Seek feedback comments from your friends, teachers, or forums like this.
7. Finally, make a decision; this will be your starting point.
A little hard work, and you will enjoy the process and reap the fruits of your research. All the best (if you are still in the process of selecting a topic).
