May i know whether is there any recent changes in the gratuity calculation? I heard that instead of 15 days, it has been increased to 21 days which we use for calculating the gratuity. Kindly update me on this.

dear we have not seen any such amendment in gratuity act ,if you have seen any notification pls post the same. tks js malik

In line with 6th pay comission (applicable for central Govt. employees) 2nd PRC Pay Revision Comittee ( applicable for central Public sector undertakings ) report the maximum ceiling from Rs.3.5 Lakhs has been raised to Rs.10 Lakhs. However, amendment of Gratuity Act is yet to come before implementation.
To my knowledge there is no change as of now.
