Pms is basically Performance management system that is to manage the employees performance. It follow the pdca cycle- Plan, Do, Check, Act.

Performance appraisal is evaluating the performance of the employee on the basis of some parameters and criteria by the supervisor while Performance Management is the overall development system for the employee to improve his performance starting with setting targets and goals for employee, measuring the performance on periodic basis, evaluating the performance with fixed targets, improving the same if required by giving proper motivation, training, incentives etc.:-P
