Excellent guide.

However, candidates should realise that this is a guide and should be treated as such. Candidates should not assume that this is the only way they can, or should, answer interviewers' questions. Nor are the answers suggested to be repeated parrot-like to the interviewers.

Candidates must use a little maturity, wisdom and commonsense to judge what portions of the guide are relevant to the questions that may be asked. They should also realise that the questions shown in the guide may be framed another way, and used in a different context, by the interviewers, and therefore they (the candidates) should be versatile enough to make their answers appropriate to the questions actually asked/taking into account the background established.

Also, candidates must expect subsequent follow-up questions to the answers they have given. If they flounder at this time, through ignorance of how to answer them, they will ruin whatever impressions they have made through their original answers.

So, irrespective of whether they follow the guide or not, candidates must be prepared for the unexpected questions, and use their wits when answering these.

Read, thoroughly understand, and use the guide by all means, but do so wisely.
