You can probably appoint a senior HR person, who knows how to set up HR systems in a new company and work under him. Jeeva.

Hi,

First of all prepare some kind of prcedure for the HR to follow. Remember dont try to start with hig end HR processes but only with basics like prepare an HR manual with all the details like Company history, Mission & vision statement, Company quality policy (Incase there is one), Employee benefits, Employee rules & regulations, company policy and few more details as relevant to the company. To prepare a HR manual you need to study the people & the company really well.

Then put the basic forms & formats in place like for Interview prepare the interview asessment sheet, reference check form, internal reference schmes, employee application form, preliminary offer letter, appointment letter, joining report.

Similarly pick p one HR filed and put the process in place. This complete process will not happen overnight it will take time so go slow but once implemented follow it religiously.

Dont try to follow HR practices of other organisation since every organisation have different kind of employees in terms of maturity. So try studying your company and then implementing HR practices accordingly.

Pooja
