Hi All,
Can anyone assist me in preparing the emergency contact plan for the following crisis.
1) There is a big riot in Mumbai early in the morning, and we need to close our office;
2) There is a big riot in Mumbai anytime in the day, and we need to contact our colleagues who are not in the office;
3) There is a fatal accident happen in our project site in the middle of the night;
4) There is a big riot in Mumbai and our colleagues cannot go home.

preparing an emergency contact plan is not so difficult. Actually there is no ideal format for that. Still following points can be of help for u:
Make a layout of Disaster mgmt sort of group(u can have a better name)
HR head may head this group.
Take help of the Org Structure (Hierarchy), identify one person (preferably senoir) from each department as a contact zone for that particular Department/project/group and he should have contact no. (including residence no.)of all members of his Department/project/group. in case of any adversity/riot, these persons will ensure well being of their members and report the same to HR head.
In case of riot/Bandh or natural calamity, Security head or PRO should laison with police and local admiration and report to HR Head.
HR head will in turn report safety of all employees to CEO.
