Gentlemen,
I had been working for an Services company at a Technical Position,wherein We served Off shore clients.On one occasion I am asked to quit since Client does not like my work methods, and for this I am not shown my performance charts,clients desire or not even any Performance improvement Plan, however a certain period is given to me to find another oppurtunity.Couping up with the Situation I find myselves a Better oppurtunity and the next org. asks me join within a very short notice.Ideally am I liable to pay my notice period ? (2 months) which the company normally advices its employees .

Ideally there are frameworks/guidlelines which our contracts posess and used literally only in the event of either party breaking the spirit of the contract.
From what you say, you don't seem to be breaking the spirit of the agreement and in fact comply quickly with a need of the present organisation.
Speak to them.......I don't think they will enforce the notice period payment in lieu

asking for regination is termed as termination in sophisticated manner, and hence it is not considered as willful resignation. Therefore there is no question of notice period in this case. You can ask for immediate relieving. If company doesnot relieve you, submitt a self relieving letter and join the other company. Don't abscond, that will be unlawful. Just submit a self relieving letter whereby mention that u were asked to discountinue and hence u r leaving. GOOD LUCK
