Dear all, Kindly help me to find the consultant fee to close the opening. I heard its 8.33% is the market rate for any closure.
But i have a consultant who's working for my company for almost 3 years and he charges almost 12% and to say our company has not signed MoU with the consultant.
Does the closure fee varies with CTC or the position. Kindly enlighten me on this.

At the outset its better to have MOU signed among the two.
As you mentioned it varies and depends on the services provided by consulting firms.
It starts from 8.33% and varies based on years of experience/CTC offered.
However its always within HR team to negotiate it for uniform rate irrespective of positions/CTC.

It depends on the consultant and the position they are working on.But getting MOU singned is a prequisite.Generally the rates are-
Upto AM-8.33%
Mgr to GM-12 %
Above GM-16 %
But for specific headunting and executive search the rates are not predetermined
Please let me know your views on this
