Hi all,
As a corporate trainer, I have observed that there are certain terms used by senior corporate executives which are hard to understand for the juniors/freshers. Some of these words/phrases have a meaning very different from their literal/dictionary meaning, which confuses the listener during business meetings, town halls, or even casual chats that they have with their seniors.
I have tried to put together the most frequently observed of those terms in the attached document. The list is obviously not exhaustive, and I welcome additions to it.
The terms highlighted in red are those whose meaning in a business context is very different from their dictionary meaning.
Hope you find it to be useful.
Cheers,
