Hi Srikanth,

The salary for HR professionals, especially in the manufacturing industry, varies from company to company. Some companies may offer 6000/- to 7000/- dirhams per month, while good or reputed companies may pay 9000/- to 11000/- dirhams, provided the candidate has at least one or two years of experience in the UAE. Currently, salaries at all levels - from HR executives, senior executives, HR coordinators, managers, senior managers, etc., have seen an increase.

For a fresher, the salary ranges from 4000/- to 6000/- dirhams per month. Please note that all the above data and information have been gathered from various UAE websites, consultants' websites, and UAE newspapers over the past 15 days.

Regarding your query about the minimum salary for HR professionals in Dubai's manufacturing industry in the present market scenario:

A. If he/she is qualified with an MBA and has 4 years of experience in HR core functions in India, the expected salary in Dubai would be?

B. What would be the expected salary if he/she is a fresher?

Thank you, Mr. Prabakaran, for your inputs after extensive research and reading.

Let me include my input. An MBA graduate with approximately 4 to 5 years of experience in HR core functions, good English language skills, and proficiency in one or two additional languages (especially Arabic - excellent) can command a good pay package in Dubai. I would estimate it to be in the range of 9K to 11K, along with additional benefits applicable in the industry where they will be employed.

A fresher on a visit visa may find themselves compelled to accept a job offer in the range of 4 to 6K. However, due to the current job scenario, challenges in changing jobs within the first two years, the nature of the company, rising cost of living, and notably, the lack of training and career development opportunities, it may not be advantageous for any candidate to accept offers at a lower salary scale, particularly without additional benefits such as accommodation.

I would like to add that, as in most other cases, the giver does not receive as much as the receiver, and it is possible that other job roles may offer more substantial pay packages than those in HR.

I will aim to include more statistics here tomorrow.

Thanks to Srikanth and Prabakaran for bringing up this topic.
