If the employees under the categories, i.e., cook/driver/peon, are employed for M/s XYZ and are on the payroll of M/s ABC, does M/s ABC need to have a contract labor license even if M/s XYZ has a contract license?

I f the ABC is having more than 19 number of employees in that case this required otherwise not required.

Yes , In this case Principal employer is M/s XYZ ltd. and contractor is M/s ABC. So M/s ABC must have to take contract licence.

AS per my discussion with labour office , this above three category contract labour license does not required to be removed so whether thus three category comes under contract labour .

As i know Cook & Peon both the catagory cover under contract labour coz there is many contractor contract with company for canteen & hospitality. But I am not sure about Driver.
