Iam on the look out for PHD in HR with Training and Development as the specilisation, could any of you give me some tips/web address es etc? I tried surfing ISTD web site, but they only have a diploma in T&D available !

well i dont know you but it's really nice to hear that you are thinking about your future..
Well Before guiding you i would like to know that what do u do?
in which field you are working. see one can do Ph.d with some particular universities as well which offers these programms like we have ICFAI, Jamia milya university.. and many other and the second method is to get registered in any particular university which doesnot not require any specific enterance criterion just simple formalities for that u need to have one guide.. Do tell me which method you would like to follow.... and i will provide you wid address and contacts as you want.

Dear Arshi, Thanks for the reply.Iam basically a lawyer turned to HRD after a FT MBA, had been for a stroll in various industries like automobiles, apparels, education, health care and hospitality, now in FMCG/Dairying industry- milma at calicut dairy(formed on the lines of AMUL in GJ).
My intention is to be a consultant /faculty in HR/OD/T&D after a few years, i hope this much is suficient.

As far as your profile is concerned i suppose you should go for a reputed institution for your future persuence, i have heard of ICFAI University providing PHD in a professional Manner i think you can look on to it.

I think you will get the appropriate exposure there as the field in itself is very Dynamic and Challenging.
