Dear Praveen,
If your wife is not working at present, then you can ask her employer for withdrawl of PF by submitting Form 19 and 10 C. Employer should give PF no. alotted to your wife. It is alloted as soon as employee joins.
Employer should give PF Reciepts (for every accounting year) issued by the PFDepartment. Or you can examine your wife record in PF annual return submitted by the employer by April every year.
Thanks

Normally an employer will give EPF A/c No. allotted to an employee. Similarly, a contribution slip showing the details of contribution made by the member and the employer will also be distributed, but this will happen only after one year and as the same is to be generated by the EPF Organisation, sometimes it will take time to get contribution slip from the EPF Org.
The safest is to approach the EPF Office where your company's EPF returns are submitted and collect the information. You can make a representation either to the Enforcement Officer or the Asst. Profivent Fund Commissioner and state that you were working in such and such organisation and contributions to EPF were made in time but no details of it are available. They will give details.
Try that.
