if company issues an address proof certificate for an employee. in case of fraud by that employee in Bank loan case, then company will be liable as a guaranteer or Not ??

Depends on the terms and conditions on which Loan was given to him..but i dont think Co. ca be held as a guaranteer..in my opinion

Providing address proof certificate and signing guarantee is two different issues and so Co cannot be called as guarantor if it has given address proof certificate.
But co. should have made resonable enquiry before providing the said ceritficate.

Providing Address Proof can never make the employer a guarantor for the loan to be taken. Address proof only states that the employee is working for the organization and resides at the address mentioned as per the records submitted by the employee.

why should a company issue the Address Proof, when employee himself cannot give any proof for his temporary address.
So I feel that the company is not the authorized organization in issuing the address proof. Nevertheless the company can ask for the self attested affidavit about his residence and then issue the address proof from the company.
Please highlight the legal consequences if the company issues the address proof.
