Dear Sarvesh
Creating JDs of all employees from junior to senior level, in itself is a voluminous full-time task.
It also involves not only the tasks that everyone is required to perform but also many other factors and descriptions which are specific to your industry and company.
If you are unable to do it on your own; its advisable to outsource this task to a suitable consultancy or consultant.
Warm regards.

In that case; here are some tips to get started :
1. Start from the top. If it is too difficult; considering it involves the MD/CEO and other senior officials; then start with a particular Section or Department.
2. Study the Roles and Responsibilities of a particular position. Take the help of the person occupying that particular position. Request him if the company has to advertise the job; what are the things to be put to describe the job responsibilities.
3. Make draft and put them up before concerned persons; seek their opinion and refine the draft.
4. You can get some clue from the tasks and targets of the persons as reflected in their Performance Appraisals.
5. Making JD is not just science i.e. technical competency; but also an art, thereby I mean, it comes through practice and more practice.
6. If you wish; you can put up a few sample JDs here, and seek the views and opinion of members. This would be highly appreciated; instead of seeking help on a platter.
Warm regards.
