My previous employer is not paying my full and final on the pretext that they haven't received the funds from the client I was working at the time, I had served the full notice period as per the LWD mentioned in the resignation acceptance mail, and they also committed FnF payment at the end of 1 months after the said LWD.
Now it's 2 months more than that, I had sent an email citing the current financial issues I am facing (I have to take loan to cover my living expenses in the interim) and all they are saying is we cannot release payment until the client pays.
Request your kind advice here as to what legal remedies I have regarding this situation.
Also will there be any repercussions for me in the future, like negative feedback from the company in the future if I take legal action and also do I have any remedy for this as well.

If you know the client, check with him the correctness of their statement. You will come to know about intentions of your employer then steps can be taken accordingly.

If the clause is added in your terms of appointment that your liable to be paid only when your client paid all their dues, in such case you cannot do anything but that maynot be the case in most of the cases as client payment is company's obligation of receiving funds against service provided, so you be clear about this, if company is simply giving lame excuses then you have got all rights to sue the company !! and your future etc., if you good at your work no need to bother becos most of the companies see candidate from the work point is concerned and other parameters are secondary !! if at all company given negative feedback and you got genuine reason to address that issue !!
