Hi, I have joined a company as an HR executive recently and the ex - HR hasn't handover me anything. She has already been released from the company 15 days back and that too early as she wanted to and got the relieving letter. Company requested her on her LAST WORKING DAY to give the handover to new HR first post joining and then company will complete her F&F on the same day itself. Now, the she is showing tantrums in giving the handover and doing nonsense requests going against company policies for her F&F.

She is demanding now her half days deduction salary for late coming also for the previous months and this is against the policy of the company. Moreover, salary breakup is there in her appointment letter which has her signatures too on her joining and we are giving her the same bonus amount which is mentioned on the papers and she is asking for more bonus saying the appointment letter has incorrect bonus amount. And she is not cooperating with anybody in the company for her F&F and handover Now, we really think she would surely do something stupid to defame the company.

Please suggest me how to tackle with her and safeguard the company.

It is not for you to tackle her. Hand this problem over to the CEO to deal with.

I think you need to stand firm and don't yield, now that she is coming with more and more untenable demands you need to call the bluff and say a firm NO. Even if she has not done the full handing over, you need to pick up the threads and stabilise the operations. Take the help and guidance of others and be optimistic.

Hi, Make it clear to her that her settlement is arrived at based on company norms and if she is not willing to accept company can’t help.
