Aprt from that I need to do a research on following topics:

1. Leveraging social media for learning and development

2. HR as profit centre how?

3. Cost optimization through whole HR

4. HR as a strategic partner

The key to creating a fully engaged workforce is to meet the five basic needs every person has: to be heard, to be respected, and to have competence, autonomy, and purpose. These are easy to meet. Listen to employee complaints, suggestions, and questions giving them more than enough opportunity to voice them (this meets the need to be heard), and then respond to them in a timely fashion at least to the satisfaction of the employee (this meets the need to be respected). There is more to this, but to watch a short video go to http://bensimonton.com <link updated to site home>
