I joined in a manufacturing company 7 months back. In the appointment letter mentioned "You will be on Probation for a period of 3 months from the date of your joining. During the probationary period your remuneration shall be given below" and "During the period of probation, your services may be terminated without any notice and without assigning any reasons therefore."

"After completion of the probationary period, one month notice is to be given either side before resigning from the services of the company."
My net salary is 25050 and my monthly CTC is 28650.

At the time of joining, They get my signature on the Non-disclosure form typed in 20 rupees stamp paper mentioning 60 days will be my notice period.

I did not get my confirmation letter till now. Now they started giving mental torture by saying to complete the tasks before EOD which takes time and in a real scenario it's very tough without vendor support.

I contacted a vendor for completion of the work and they quoted the minimum cost will be approx 29k and it takes min 2 days for completion of the work.

Now I plan to resign with immediate effect.

What to do?

Hi,

You shouldn't have signed 20 rupees stamp paper . You should have checked with HR why different notice period clauses in different documents. Express your difficulties and unwillingness to continue and request for amicable relieving with your current employer.

Even if you did not get your letter of confirmation from the company, it is deemed that you have been confirmed in service, as you did not receive any communication from company regarding extension of your probation period.

As you executed NDA with the company, the terms stipulated in the agreement shall be binding on you and you need to adhere to it, if you desire to have a smooth exit from the company
