Dear Friends,
Kindly help me in clearing my doubt about pf where if an employee( new joinee) has its basic salary above 6500/- , is it mandatory to deduct his/her pf on basic.
Or one can get the exemption of not choosing for pf deduction from his salary? if yes under which section of the pf act???????
Reply plz.

Dear Member,
According to EPF Act, the ceiling limit is fixed up to 6,500/- If the employer and employee willing opt under the EPF Scheme irrespective of the salary ceiling the law doesnot bar such cases.

But in order to get that exemption, declaration is taken from the employee for the same by the employer and has to be in records. Warm Regards, Aarti

Hi Arthi,
Form 11 is there for exemption from covering under Pf. It has to filled by Employee with sign from Employer and submit to PF office. then only it will consider as legal. You people can get this Form 11 from PF Office for free of Cost.
