Dear seniors,
Iam working as a HR Executive of a software company.im new to this HR field,Im the only one HR Executive of my company.here most of the employees are following the rules and regulation and few of them not following the rules.I dont know what to do if the employees are not following the rules.i cant able to scold them,because that kind the Maturity i dont have.please suggest me how to handle the situation like if the employees not follow the rules and how to makes them repect on me..

Initially you discuss with the branch head that your observing following violation in rules and regulations, if he agrees with you and ready to take a action, then you can send a polite mail stating rules and regulations clearly and ask them to follow the same.
please send the mail to all the employees including whoever following the rules.
And mark a CC copy of the mail to the branch head.
Make sure that mentioning a line saying \" thank you in advance for your cooperation!!\"
see that definitely you can see the change,if again they are doing the same you can send a remainder.
if you mention exactly what rules they are not following would be clear for us to guide you.
anyways you can try what i said above

Thanks for your valuable information.im just one month before only i got placed in this company.it is a growing IT company.the problem is only few employees only accepted me as a HR.Remaining people not following my instructions and rules.Evert day they coming late to the office and they do not taking the correct break timings.They always used to talk more while working hours and they are not doing the proper work..

hr manager means friend of people but people thinks that he is enemy to every one.
The role of hr person is to observe the people to leads to target of the company. Not to point out the adverse situations or failures of the people.
First u mingle with people. Tell the people we are for the company if necessary. Evaluate the performance in all levels and suggest or bring to the notice of higher ups.
Just rules and regulations cannot create the congenial atmosphere only human relation will create fruitful or resultant atmosphere in the organisation.
True hr person will bring jovial situation to motivate the people for good organisation.
