Hello Priya,
Suggest FIRST go thru the old postings in CiteHR before posting such messages. You will find LOADS of info that you may not need all of it.
It will save you as well as all the others who see such postings lots of time...........sorry for being direct, but I think you need to FIRST put in your effort before asking others.
Rgds,

Hi Priyaranganathan,
Right from recruitment till F & F would not be possible at one shot, i believe.
but what posts the members say to be searched meticuluously and retreived.
as you say, i have also gone through enough posts and found it useful at many times.
regards

Dear Priya,
My personal suggestion here would be 1st try to make some good HR policies for your company..Study your company well, ask them Recruitments done is for what designation and than accordingly study on Google, naukri or any job portal about that specific requirement incase if you have not done before..
Also, when it comes to Recruitment if u r responsible for making appointment & salary breakup,,What are the components you would need to make that and how to segregate it...learn these important basic things if you unaware of same..

Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the suggestions.

We are trying to start our own BPO (European, 1000 seater) and from head to toe everything would be tailor made.

I am in the process of framing the HR policies and done with most of them.

We have plans to start with a pilot batch of 100 nos with top members in operations through referal and agents to be freshers through consultants or through portals and walk-in.

My concern now is we are a software company and as we start a BPO do you think that the same management would be able to manage them or should we go ahead in recruiting people to manage the BPO?

To say the BPO is our own, we are not outsourcing but we are bringing our own for our own products.

My point is, We dont like to give the entire thing to a new person as we are starting from the scratch, i am worried if others would show the same interest in the growth of the company and probably we can manage for 1 yr as the head count reaches 500 we could try to include some more in the management.

Grow as you work, is our policy now.. thats we have plans to recruit freshers and let them grow with us.

Your suggestions, criticism are most welcome, pls give all your suggestions and enlighten me.

Regards,
Priya

Dear,
The strategy always depends upon the Company's culture & its way of working, whereas first u need to chalk out , what is going on in ur organization as far as attendance, punctuality, performance assessment, movement of man & material, disciplinary activities, recruitment system, Security system, salary structure & its administration and so on. Make some refinement in that if you are allowed to do.
In case it is new Company, u need to get attached with some experienced person.
Pl feel free to talk over - 09816615455

Priya,
Not sure your question makes any sense. In order to develop an HR strategy, you need to understand the overall business strategy. Once you have the overall business strategy and a good sense of the challenges the business, you then can develop an HR strategy. The strategy should help drive business results and maximize the human potential in the organization.
