Hello everyone.
This is my first post in the forum.
The problem is regarding the salary computation of employees.
I have a retail showroom with 30 employees(mostly salesperson).
weekly we have 1 day off (wednesday). So in a month of 31 days there are generally 26 working days and 5 holidays. What we have been doing is that if a employee comes for 22 working days he will be given 22*5/26 = 4 holidays (rounded off to nearest integers).
I want to know if this is the standard practice....or is there any better system?
There are some loop holes in this method......like last month during diwali we gave 2 extra days of holidays....thus leading to 24 working days and 7 holidays. An employee working for 22 days will just get 6 holidays even he is absent for only 2 days ie 6.45% of 31 days.
looking forward for your replies.
Thank You
